The Tour de Connecticut Version

The version we’re bringing on tour is not the one that played on Travel Channel (that brought in all these raves from viewers) or that is available on iTunes. The Tour de CT version is the same one that won Best Documentary, Audience Choice and Best Educational Feature Awards at Film Festivals, except we’ve bleeped out all swear words to make it even more family friendly.

Synopsis

  

DreamRiders is a documentary film featuring William S Roulston, a divorced father teetering on a mid-life crisis and Nico, his eighteen-year-old son teetering on the edge of manhood.

 

Ten years past a devastating divorce, a growing gap between them has birthed a quiet desperation in Bill to reclaim the love of his son. He proposes a bold plan to rekindle their relationship: a 4000-mile odyssey across America from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic…on bicycles.

 

 

 

  

Bill, dreamer that he is, has never been on an overnight bicycle trip in his life. And Nico, who has never ridden a bike further than ten miles, agrees to go.

 

 

Built from hundreds of hours of footage, thousands of miles of road and the experiences of a lifetime, the film chronicles

the duo’s journey from a few days before its start in Yakima, Washington to its powerful climax. Totally real and unscripted, they encounter situations that the most gifted Hollywood screenwriter would be hard pressed to top for humor, conflict and emotional impact.
